Tips for the perfect Valentine luxury lingerie gift!

Saturday, 5 January 2013 18:01:35 Europe/London

Here are our “lucky 7 tips” for buying your Valentine partner the perfect luxury lingerie gift, from

(i) Pick something you like, but make sure you think she’ll like it too – elegant and beautiful pieces are always winners

(ii) Luxurious materials and style, combined with the finest detail in production always shine through – silk is the perfect material for luxury and sensuality

(iii) You can be bold on colours – there are some beautiful, deep red pieces which are most traditional for Valentine’s Day, but black, gold and even blue can transmit a sense of luxury and style as well

(iv) Chose something to match the occasion – a bra, brief and suspender collection can be perfect for giving before you go out (ideally to wear on the evening), but a babydoll or nighty can be suited for your romantic weekend away

(v) Be smart on sizes – if you can’t check her actual bra size (maybe look at one of her current bras for this), then go for a soft bra, nighty, babydoll or other bodywear which come in small, medium and large sizes

(vi) Pick something on trend – this is a harder one to achieve, we know, but you could try for a lingerie piece that can be worn as outerwear; this adds another dimension and ensures it can be worn on many different occasions (under or outer!)

(vii) And for number 7, be lucky and go with your instincts – it only comes around once a year so do make it special and make her feel special
